Basic STCW Courses

Are you considering a career as a professional seafarer or crew member?

These are the four minimum basic courses you need to work on Yachts and Cruise Ships:

  1. Elementary First Aid
  2. Fire Fighting
  3. Personal Safety (PSSR)
  4. Personal Survival Techniques (PST)

You are required to wear the prescribed safety gear for STCW training, including a hardhat, gloves, and overalls.
Safety Gear
You learn how to safely jump into water and swim to safety.
Personal Survival Techniques
All our STCW courses take place in Cape Town, where you'll find world-class training and stunning views of Table Mountain.
